Why we do what we do

Real Conversations started in 2018 with research of over 300 people across the world on the influence of technology on their face-to-face conversations. We published a book in 2019 ‘Real Conversations In Digital Age.’ The remote working re-emphasised our belief that nothing could replace the power of in-person conversations. As world changed during 2020-21 we worked hard to build elements of face-to-face into variety of interventions for different segments of organisations. Based on our proprietary real conversations methodology, we look at the conversational challenges in the organisation and design programs that directly address the issue.

our story

2017
It was in 2017 that Ritu Kant was sitting in a cafe' waiting for a client when he observed almost no one was talking to each other. Everyone was staring at screens of laptops of phones. While he had been observing this trend for years but this was a cafe where you usually meet your friends over coffee for conversations. This was trigger for the research, the output of what was later coined as 'Real Conversations.'
2018-2019
It took humongous effort, research and speaking to hundreds to understand how serious was the situation. People were increasingly avoiding talking to each other. The culmination of the research was a book - Real Conversations in Digital Age in December 2019.
2020-2021
The book suddenly became quite relevant as weeks after it was published, pandemic hit the world. As remote and hybrid work became a norm than an exception, the real conversations started working with organisations to help them with different segments.
